The Mission

“espacio marte is an initiative whose structure is designed to create a space for exhibition, dialogue and action, both in commercial terms and linked to the production of gestures or aesthetic moments. These can happen or materialize in collective or individual exhibitions, in specific collaborations with other agents in the environment, and in the production of various books and prints that are by themselves an artistic work and not just a mere record or document to file.

We want to delineate our identity through the passage of time and with the way of daily acting in the field of contemporary art. We do not seek to define ourselves by working with artists who produce a type of art or who support their proposal on the margins of a discipline, since these categories or ways of classifying have lost, from our perspective, meaning and importance.

Our “statement” is, in a way, a test statement, a space that is still flexible, fortunately.”
